Immigration law

I wasn't aware that GA had a new immigration law, and when first hearing this I thought "oh, that is good". Since I didn't know anything about it, I looked it up on the internet. I got several articles that came up and I started to read one by one. The more I read the more I disliked this law. I am all for lowering the number of illegal immigrates and helping public services go to the tax payers, but the way this law goes about it, just is not right. If a taxi/cab/bus/MARTA driver is pulled over/caught driving illegal immigrates they are fined or sent to jail with the immigrates. Even a legal teenager driving his/her illegal mother to the store is now a criminal. I do not think it is right at all to punish someone for doing their job or even a teenager helping his/her mother. I also do not believe that they should be held responsible for these people, how are they supposed to know if their passengers are immigrates or not. "It may be unkind, but it doesn't make it (the law) unconstitutional," said Orland. "Sometimes the law is harsh."; that statement is completely true, but it is also true that the people make the law and people have no right to be unkind and harsh to others, illegal or not. I think that we should have new immigration laws, but they should be thought about carefully, and not punish others for doing what they do to make a living. I'm sure someone can find a way to lower the number of illegal immigrates without hurting the community and lives of the people of GA.
