Before I became enrolled at Macon State, I attended Warner Robins High School. I absolutely loved every minute of it. I would say that my education at Warner Robins High was adequate to prepare me for college. I believe that to be true not only because of the school itself, but because of the classes I chose to take as well. Throughout high school I was enrolled in all honors courses and during my senior year I had some AP classes as well. To get an adequate education, that will prepare you for college, it is not only the school that has to do that; You, yourself, have to work your best, take classes that are harder and more demanding, and really give it your all. If you don't do your part you will never have an adequate education. Warner Robins High is a part of an excellent school system and also has very great teachers; the education I attained by attending Warner Robins High is none the less superior to that of other high schools. I personally wasn't one of those kids that sit in the back and sleep all class. I was more of the one that sat up front or in the middle, and did all my work. I knew I needed to focus on school, I have seen firsthand what happens when you don't really care about school, or you don't care enough to go to college. It is a lot harder the second time around. I did my part to receive the education I needed and Warner Robins High definitely did their part. I have a lot of school pride, and I know that Warner Robins teaches to a higher level, and works every day to ensure the students enrolled there receive everything they need to excel not only in college, but life as well.
